INSIDE SALES REPRESENTITIVE

Reports To: President / Operations Manager
Role Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is the technical specialist within our sales operation. You will serve a primary point of contact for customers seeking parts, new equipment, and service solutions. This role is not just about "taking orders"; it’s about providing recommendations and helping customers identify the right hoist, crane component, or rigging gear for their specific lifting challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Sales & Quoting: Process inquiries for overhead crane components, electric chain hoists, wire rope hoists, and rigging hardware. Select the correct equipment based on capacity, span, duty cycle, and environment.
- Parts Specialist: Identify and source replacement parts for major industry brands (e.g., Columbus McKinnon, Harrington, R&M, Detroit Hoist).
- Lead Coordination: Qualify inbound leads and coordinate with Outside Sales Managers to schedule site visits for complex, large-scale crane installations.
- Vendor Relations: Work closely with manufacturers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical specifications.
- Order Management: Oversee the lifecycle of an order from initial quote to shipment, ensuring clear communication regarding backorders or logistics.
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
- Experience: 2+ years in industrial sales, preferably within the material handling, construction, or heavy machinery industries.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics. You should be comfortable discussing "tons," "feet per minute," and "duty cycles."
- Software Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Salespad, Microsoft Dynamics, or industry-specific tools).
- Communication Style: A "customer-first" attitude with the ability to explain complex mechanical products to both procurement agents and maintenance technicians.
- Detail-Oriented: Precision is critical; a 1/2-inch error in a hoist spec can lead to significant safety and financial risks.
INSIDE SALES-SERVICE SUPPORT
We are seeking an inside Production Support & Customer Service person to join our team! You will work directly with our production shop, vendors, and customers to prepare quote, process orders, and monitor production.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes and proposals in response to customer requests or from outside sales team.
- Review customer diagrams & drawings to calculate product size, and configurations.
- Respond to emails and phone messages for customer orders, service inspections & repair requests.
- Process sales orders and communicate with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery dates.
- Process vendor purchase orders including follow up to ensure timely receipt of products per customer requirements.
- Perform quality checks
- Process invoices when orders are complete.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and completion deadlines.
- Excellent math skills required.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Self-starter - solution based problem solver.
- Salary: Based on Experience
- Full-Time Position Monday to Friday 7:30 – 4:30

SHOP AND MAINTENANCE
We are seeking a Manufacturing General Laborer - Assembler to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- Work within a team and independently to assemble entire products or components.
- Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
- Prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications:
- Willing to learn new processes and willing to work with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated-willing to grow with the job and the company.
- Ability to use a ruler and other measurement devices.
- Ability to handle physical workload standing & light weight lifting. All heavy lifting is done with the assistance of a co-worker and/or mechanical lifting equipment
- Ability to work well independently and within team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to drive Forklift – certified. Training is provided.
- Training provided for specialized equipment used in the production of assemblies, slings and other rigging products.
Job Type: Full-time Long Term OR Short Term
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

SERVICE TECHNICIAN - SERVICE & INSTALLATION
Perform inspections, repairs and maintenance on overhead hoists and cranes. Work with a team to install new overhead crane systems. Service and install other types of material handling equipment including scissors lift tables, conveyor systems, lifting magnets, vacuum lifters, and other similar equipment.
- Many different work environments including working in our shop and a variety of manufacturing plants plus Great Lakes Freighters.
- Wide variety of equipment to work on.
- We provide a service vehicle, cell phone and iPad.
- Take your service vehicle home and be dispatched directly from home.
- You can live anywhere in Eastern Wisconsin.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,900.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Occasional second shift or weekend
What Sets You Apart
- Direct experience with overhead crane terminology (bridge, trolley, runway, end truck).
- Knowledge of OSHA 1910.179 regulations regarding overhead and gantry cranes.
