Hoist Inspection

WiscoLift, Inc. repairs all brands and types of electric, pneumatic, and manual hoists.

Chain hoists, wire rope hoists, and ratchet lever hoists are repaired, tested, and certified.

  • Factory trained technicians.
  • Dedicated, specially equipped hoist repair facility.
  • Dynamic load testing using certified testing equipment.  Signed test documentation is included with each repaired hoist.
Critical safety items inspected and tested:
  • Mechanical load brake
  • Load limit clutch
  • Motor brake
  • Mechanical limit devices
  • Electrical limit circuits
  • Chain sprocket or wire rope drum
  • Hooks, load blocks, mounting devices
  • Motor and motor windings
  • Controls and pendants
  • Chain guides or wire rope guides
  • Gearbox gears, seals and bearings.

 

OSHA section 1910.179(l)(1) requires all facilities employing hoists and cranes to have a maintenance program in place.  We perform on-site inspections and supply concise and easy to read inspection reports that keep you informed and OSHA-compliant.
